지난 해 11월에 열린 COP26(유엔 기후변화 당사국총회) 회의에서 동남아 각국 정상들은 일제히 기후변화에 대한 전지구적 차원의 적극적인 대응과 즉각적인 행동을 강조했는데요. 인도네시아, 태국, 베트남 등 동남아 대부분 국가들은 저지대에 위치해 해수면 상승에 직접적인 피해를 입을 뿐만 아니라, 농업과 산림업 등에 의존도가 높아 기후위기에 더욱 민감하게 대응해야 하는 상황입니다.
